I studied one semester in Kiel University as Masters student
in Material Science department. Kiel is the capital of the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. The city lies
extreme north of Germany, 96 km from Hamburg city. Number of residents about
233,800.The Kiel city is famous for the beach, and the university.Kiel is a hands-on maritime experience at one of
Germanys biggest passenger ports. A fresh sea breeze, fluttering pennants and full sails - when summer arrives in Kiel, the
international world of sailing gathers here for the sailing festival 'Kiel Week'. Three million guests pour into the city
to gape at the impressive ships and watch the regattas. The people of Kiel are happy to host the internationally renowned
maritime event. The reported cool stiffness of northern Germans is nowhere to be found.
